I love you vs. I’m in love with you.
“I love you” is something anyone can say to anyone. It can be casuals words said to friend. It can meaningful words said to a lover. I love you can just be anything anyone wants it to be. When someone says, “I’m in love with you,” it tends to be more on the passionate side. It tends to be more meaningful. It shows the connection that the two people have for one another.
